1. Information we collect

When you use Äctvli PDF we may collect: (a) account information (email, name) if you sign up; (b) usage data (e.g. tool usage counts) to enforce limits and improve the service; (c) IP-derived identifiers for anonymous usage limits. PDF and file content processed by our tools may be sent to our servers only for Pro AI features (e.g. Chat with PDF, Summarize); basic tools run in your browser and do not upload file content.

2. How we use it

We use this information to provide the service, enforce fair use, process payments (via Stripe), and improve our product. We do not sell your personal data.

3. Cookies and storage

We use cookies and local storage for authentication, preferences (e.g. theme), and usage limits. You can disable cookies in your browser but some features may not work.

4. Third parties

We use NextAuth (authentication), Stripe (payments), Anthropic (AI), and may use Google AdSense for ads on the free tier. Their privacy policies apply to their processing.

5. Your rights

You may request access, correction, or deletion of your data by contacting us. EU/EEA users have additional rights under GDPR.
